Belly Barre Sculpt
This new class format fuses Belly Dance moves with Pilates core work and Ballet barre center work for one invigorating hour filled with sculpting moves targeting abdominals, back, legs, arms and gluteals. This workout is all about balance and control, and will be taught in a fun sequence that will leave you feeling both refreshed and toned.
Stability and strength exercises will be incorporated into this fun and
challenging class using the BOSU half ball. Exercises will be based
on Yoga and Pilates movements. You can expect a cardiovascular workout.
Working on the BOSU effectively conditions ankles, legs, core and upper
BOSU Boxing Fusion
This fusion class incorporates elements of our BOSU, Boot Camp and Contact Kickboxing classes, and will be taught in a circuit format. Cardio conditioning, stability and strength exercises on the BOSU ball will be combined with kickobxing and punching exercises on the bag to burn calories and build lean muscle mass
BOSU Yoga Fushion
This high intensity workout on the BOSU half ball, which incorporates light hand weights and tubing, is designed to increase balance, strength and stability by integrating the core muscles. The exercises will tone the entire body, resulting in defined abdominals, sculpted arms, legs, and glutes, and will conlcude with a relaxing yoga cool down to leave you feeling mentally and physically balanced.
Cardio Pilates Reformer
This is an intense, hour long group training session. All of the major muscles in the body, combined with cardiovascular training, will be emphasized. The class uses circuit training techniques which allow the body to burn more calories in a shorter amount of time while building lean muscle mass. Using free weights, BOSU balls, and exercise bands, combined with old army drills, students will be challenged to their highest physical ability in a fun class environment that is friendly and inviting. Boot camp classes are pre-registration and require a 6-session commitment.
This Pilates reformer class will raise your Pilates workout to another level by incorporating cardiovascular jumpboard exercises. The jumboard work accelerates the heart rate and targets the legs, back, abdominals and arms while incorporating traditional Pilates exercises. Classes are offered in 6-week sessions for $180 and pre-registration is required. Drop-ins are permitted, provided space is available, for $35/class.
Circuit Contact Kickboxing
If you’re looking for a way to increase
confidence, perseverance, and sculpt your body, Circuit Contact Kickboxing
is for you. This 60 minute class taught by Will Carmichael, a trainer
with 16 years of martial arts experience and a former lightweight Shanshou
(Chinese kickboxing) champion, is not your typical kickboxing class.
Taught in a circuit format, this class will consist of kickboxing combinations
using high and low kicking and punching concepts, and will cover self-defense
techniques using knees and elbows, with an emphasis on cardio conditioning
and body sculpting exercises. Class size is limited to a maximum of 8
participants and pre-registration is required.
According to the American Council on Exercise, Waist Hooping burns 400 to 600 calories per hour. Hooping strengthens the core, back, abs, hips, and arms, and provides an incredible cardiovascular workout. It reduces stress, improves rhythm, mood and balance, and increases vitality.
Hula hooping is a fun way to move the body and a positive substitute for a cardio workout! It's safe for all ages and body types, including expecting mothers (with a special pregnancy hoop). The class will introduce the basics of hula hooping and HoopFit conditioning/cardio, and will cover hooping at the waist, hips, above the head, and off the body. Intro to Pilates
If you've ever wanted to try Pilates on the equipment or are new to fitness altogether, this class offers a safe and affordable opportunity to learn the fundamentals of Pilates with no prior experience. During this 4-week introductory course, you will learn the fundamentals of Pilates on both the mat and apparatus. Pilates is a method of exercise and movement developed by Joseph Pilates which is designed to lengthen, strengthen, stabilize, and tone the whole body. You will notice a stronger core (abdomen & back), and improved posture, flexibility and overall well being. Class size will be limited to 4 or fewer and pre-registration is required.

Intermediate Pilates Mat
This fast-paced Pilates Mat class will run through the entire beginning series of Mat exercises, in the order designed by Joseph Pilates. The remaining time will be spent exploring some of the advanced mat exercises. A strong knowledge of basic Pilates Mat principles and choreography is necessary to attend this class.
Pilates Chair Class(30min)
This is an abbreviated version of the Pilates Chair class, and is great as a stand along workout or in addition to a group reformer class. The Chair is one of the most challenging pieces of Pilates equipment, and a great way to tone the upper and lower body while strengthening the core. Some prior Pilates experience is required.
Pilates Chair Class(60min)
This new class is designed for those who are looking for a new and exciting addition to their current Pilates workout. The Chair is one of the most challenging pieces of Pilates equipment, and a great way to tone the upper and lower body while strenthening the core. Some prior Pilates experience is required.
Pilates Deep & Complete
This is a "multi-task" Pilates class that targets all the problem areas of the body while working correctly and deeply. You will instantly feel the work while integrating different props and modifications to help you get the most out of your Pilates class.
Challenge yourself in this Pilates mat class that incorporates balls, bands, magic circles, and foam rollers. Integrate mind and body, breath and movement with exercises that utilize your own body's resistence to strengthen your core, lengthen and tone the muscles, and increase your flexibility and range of motion.
The Pink Ribbon Program
The Pink Ribbon Program is a Pilates-based post rehab recovery program for those affected by Breast Cancer. The program will help stretch and strengthen the shoulder, chest,
back and abdominal muscles, allowing you to increase range of motion
and regain function of the affected area. The program is suitable whether your surgery was recent or several years ago and accommodates all fitness levels.
This one-time, six-week program is conducted as early as 6 to 12 weeks after surgery. The program includes a one-hour private session for individual assessment prior to
the first class. Physician clearance is required.

Postnatal Mommy & Me Yoga/Pilates
This class blends Yoga flow and Pilates mat work. The focus in on strengthening the core, hips, and buttocks, toning the pelvic floor and uniformly developing the body. The result is a toned body and relaxed mind. Infants and toddlers ages newborn to 3 years old are welcome. Mix and mingle to build a support network with other new Moms and ask questions from seasoned Mothers in the group. Tea and coffee will be provided for those that wish to network after class.
Postpartum Group Reformer
This Pilates equipment class is specifically designed for new mothers and will address common postpartum issues. The focus of the class will be on gaining pelvic floor and abdominal strength, as well as building upper body and pelvic stability. Pregnancy has a big impact on the body and Pilates is one of the best ways to strengthen and tone the body. Infants up to 12 months are welcome.

It's important to focus on regaining strength and support in these areas before jumping back into an active fitness routine. This class is intended to address diastasis of the abdominal muscles, restrengthen stretched abdominal and pelvic floor muscles, address damage to abdominal muscles following C-section, and give Mom a sense of her body again.
Postpartum Pilates Private
In recognition that each client's delivery and recovery process is different, we offer a 5-session, 30 minute Pilates Private package. Pilates is one of the best ways to get your pelvic floor and abdominal muscles back into shape post-baby. It's important to focus on regaining strength and support in these areas before jumping back into an active fitness routine. These private sessons are intended to address diastasis (separation) of the abdominal muscles, strengthen stretched abdominal and pelvic floor muscles, address damage to abdominal muscles following C-section, and give Mom a sense of her bod y again. If childcare is an issue, you may schedule these privates sessions during weekdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and bring your baby with you!
Practical Self Defense
This practical self defense class will emphasize street awareness and include a blend of Chinese and Southeast Asian martial arts practices with elements of total body conditioning. Develop perseverance, confidence, and optimal fitness is this six week course. All fitness levels are welcome. Pre-registration required

TGIF Rope Interval Training
Burn off the stress of the work week and kick start your weekend with this 45 minute high intensity interval workout. This class integrates cardio jump rope work with muscle building, fat burning exercises targeting abs, arms and butts. We have the jump ropes and the music. Just bring yourself and be prepared to work all the large muscle groups while keeping your hear rate at a drum-roll pace.
Ashtanga Yoga - the Primary Series
The first or primary series realigns the spine, detoxifies the body, and builds strength,
flexibility and stamina. The series begins with sun salutations and moves on to standing poses,
seated poses, inversions and backbends before relaxation. This class focuses on building
the fundamentals of Ashtanga Yoga with its unique breathing techniques and linking movements.
Yoga empowers children of all ages to cherish their bodies, embrace their intuition, and to actively take part in making a future for our planet. A regular practice will increase your child's self-esteem, flexibility, confidence, leadership skills, and aware of link to planet, while building stronger family and community bonds. Soulistic offers Yoga classes for the following age groups:
- Youngbliss (ages 4-7) This fun, high energy class incorporates music, storytelling and crafts with Hatha yoga poses intracately sequenced to release toxins and move the body.
- Tweenbliss (ages 8-12) This class incorporates Hatha yoga poses inctractely sequenced to increase flexibility of the mind and body while integrating the principals of respect for one another, self and planet. This class is a blend of gentle Hatha Yoga and deep restorative holds, and is perfect for anyone new to Yoga or looking for a way to connect to their breath and relax their entire body. Mom/Dad & Me Yoga
This class will explore the traditional benefits of Hatha Yoga in conjunction
with creating a nurturing environment for you to bond with your baby
or toddler. Infants and toddlers up to age 3 are welcome. Instruction will focus on strengthening
the abs, pelvic floor, hips and buttocks, and will include some flow-based
Yoga. A fun way to practice Yoga while meeting other parents in the neighborhood.
Prenatal Hatha Yoga
Mysore is Ashtanga Yoga as it is taught at the Ashtanga Yoga Research Institute
in Mysore, India. The teacher works with students in accordance with the ability and
experience level of each, individually, offering verbal cues and hands-on adjustments.
This is a safe and gentle approach for women in all trimesters of pregnancy
to practice Yoga. This class focuses on body alignment, basic breathing
techniques, posture, and form, while achieving familiarity of traditional
Hatha Yoga. The class promotes concentration, flexibility, strength and
endurance while quieting the mind and preparing for labor and birth.

The class promotes concentration, flexibility, strength and endurance while quieting the mind and preparing for labor and birth. Props such as blankets, bolsters and blocks are often used and are provided by our studio. Poses may be modified for each woman's individual comfort.
This energizing class is the perfect way to start the day. It incorporates Sun Salutations, and safe and effective sequencing appropriate for all levels. This will be a flowing class which will warm and tone the entire body, and clear your mind for the day ahead. Appropriate for beginner and advanced practitioners.
Vinyasa means breath - synchronized movement. This class is a flowing
class using classical yoga poses intricately sequenced. It is focused
on building internal heat in order to purify all layers of the body.
Yoga Flow Fusion
Yoga Flow Fusion is designed for those with experience in basic yoga poses. The pace is energetic, yet comfortable, as we move through flow sequences that build proper alignment. The class will start with a sequence designed to awaken and warm the body and then progress to flowing sequences that will engage the connection of breath and movement. Each class will explore specific alignment of yoga poses and sequences, including standing, seated, backbends and sun salutations. Yogi's will build the foundation for a safe yoga practice and receive individualized attention while gaining flexibility, strength and balance.
Start the week off right with this versatile Yoga class suitable for all levels. Yoga Mix combines Vinyasa style flow with traditional static postures, giving you a well-rounded class that will leave you feeling great. A little hidden core work, some great music, and a few mintues at the end of class for you to just "be" before starting your busy week ahead.
YogaWorks Level 1-2
This YogaWorks signature class balances precise instruction, alignment with breath, and fluid movement. Classes are carefully themed to deepen students' experience of yoga. A flow of Sun Salutations and postures are skillfully sequenced, and modifications are used to individualize the practice for each student. The YogaWorks Teacher Training is based on this clear and effective style of practice. Level 1-2 classes will emphasize the fundamentals of yoga while presenting the poses and sequencing in a more challenging way. This class is free for current YogaWorks teacher training students and individuals that register and pay for the upcoming YogaWorks Teacher Training program starting in January 2012.
This energetic class creatively combines methodology and techniques from a variety of disciplines. Nia incorporates not only jazz and modern dance, but martial arts and yoga-like moves too. Shiatsu Bodywork Therapy

The art of Zen Shiatsu combines acupressure techniques with compression, vibration, joint mobilization, and gentle stretching along the body's energy meridians. Sports Massage is perfect for individuals who lead an athletic lifestyle.

Thai Hot Compress
